Kampala Capital City Authority has suspended its budgeting process due to a failure by government to fund the authorities priorities. Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago says the authority also wants 75% of the money collected or accumulated from property rate, to be spent on service delivery, while City Divisions also want to be in-charge of their budgets.The KCCA says it intends to meet with different stakeholders on Monday next week, to forge a way forward.
