The minister for youth and children affairs Balaam Barugahara who is also an events organizer has asked police to crack down on the rising violent gangs created and led by some musicians. The gangs have of late become a threat to public safety attacking innocent people, especially at music concerts.
Artists and entertainers preparing for shows this festive season have been cautioned against performing vulgar, obscene, or immoral acts, as offenders risk being banned from the industry. As NOBERT ATUKUNDA reports, Betty Amongi, the Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, says the police are on alert to identify and report such incidents.
